Edinburgh: Narcissus Flowers & Plants

Patience Jewellery Narcissus Flowers Edinburgh

“People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.”

– Iris Murdoch.

How right Iris Murdoch is!  As part of our blog we’d like to share with you and celebrate some of the wonderful places we have encountered. And so, we start off with our favourite florist; Narcissus in the heart of Edinburgh.

Patience Jewellery Narcissus Flowers Edinburgh (24)

Established in 1997, Narcissus has developed an excellent reputation for bespoke floral design. The shop blossoms on the corner half way down Broughton St with an abundance of fresh flowers, unusual plants, wild stems and ‘wee bunches’ crawling out onto the pavement for all to see. This really is a truly special florist and the best I have ever encountered. Sharon, and her wonderful team have a passion for what they do and it comes through in every bunch lovingly assembled by their talented hands.

Narcissus is my go-to place for flowers for all occasions (including sometimes treating myself to a bunch of their vintage roses – sheer indulgence!) the shop is a joy to visit and the smile the flowers receive is priceless.

If anyone ever feels like treating us – head to Narcissus Flowers. x

As a little thank you to our Patience Bespoke engagement ring customers; if you choose Narcissus for your wedding flowers, you’ll receive a complementary bouquet for the bridal family. Please contact moira@patiencejewellery.com for more information.

  1. The way I see it, if all website owners and blog owners would write such amazing content as you do, the
internet would be much more useful than ever before.
